A
question for historical perspective: Where were
you when the terror attacks occurred on September 11th?
I was at home, watching on TV. I saw
the first plane hit, and thought that it must have been
a terrible accident. Then I saw the other plane
hit and I knew.
Final question:
You’ve achieved great success in your life, and
you’ve done so with a great deal of dignity, pride
and class. You are universally respected and
admired by many people (both inside and outside of the
NBA). If you could offer one piece of advice on
life to others, what would that be?
Honesty and effort. In my mind, those are the two
most important ingredients to achieving success.
Thank you for sharing
your thoughts with me. You are one of the true
gentlemen, and it was an honor to conduct this
interview.
My pleasure. Thank you.
